The schedule
The AMCAS processing fee is $180 and includes one medical school designation. Additional designations are $48 each. Tax, where applicable, is added at checkout. You pay online by credit card or with a Fee Assistance Program award; AAMC accepts no offline payments. You can add schools after you submit, subject to deadlines, fees and restrictions.

AAMC has not published fees for the 2028 AMCAS cycle (applying in spring 2027). These are the latest published figures, and this page will be updated when AAMC posts the new ones.
Reading the table
The per-school figure falls toward $48 as the list grows, because the first-school fee is spread over more schools. The last column is what remains after a Fee Assistance Program award, which waives up to 20 schools. Check whether you qualify with the Fee Assistance Program checker.
